Schools have always needed positive leaders that create a positive culture in their schools. However, currently, the need for a Positive Culture is CRUCIAL, not only for the academic success of students, but for the social emotional well-being for EVERYONE in the school. This training will illustrate the impact positive leadership can have on a school/district. Dr. Kelly D. Stewart, IASA 2014 Illinois Superintendent of the Year, will present the Power of Positive Leadership Framework from Jon Gordon’s book The Power of Positive Leadership. The Framework is based on proven principles that make great leaders great. According to Benjamin Hooks, retired Director of the NAACP, “If you think you are leading and turn around to see no one following, then you are just taking a walk.” How can you make sure you are not on a walk? Join us to learn skills that will enable you to be a more positive leader that people want to follow.
There is a $50.00 additional fee for licensed materials.
