Dr. Sheila Greenwood just concluded her 9th year as superintendent in the Bement School District in Central Illinois, her 22nd year as an administrator and 34th year in education overall. She earned her doctorate from McKendree University. Sheila served as a principal in positions ranging from Early Childhood/PK-High School. She recently retired from Bement, but hasn’t left the field of education, just re-arranged her schedule to accommodate writing, mentoring, consulting and First Grade twins. She was awarded the IASA Abe Lincoln Region Superintendent of Distinction Award from her colleagues in 2020-2021.
