After teaching and facilitating an ESL/bilingual program in a diverse elementary school district, Tammy decided to pivot her career into professional learning. Since 2005, she has created and delivered hundreds of sessions about multilingual learners from preschool through high school. In September 2017, Tammy began focusing on the unique needs of preschool multilingual learners when she took on her current role as the Professional Development Program Manager for The Center: Early Childhood Professional Learning (ECPL).
