Dr. Jo Nell "Jody" Wood, is an Associate Professor at Saint Louis University where for the past 18 years she has taught courses to doctoral students in curriculum design, curriculum management, instructional design, professional development, SPED administration, and teacher evaluation. For 31 years prior to joining the SLU faculty, she was a teacher, facilitator, instructional specialist, staff developer, and assistant superintendent of C & I in a rapidly growing district outside of St. Louis. Dr. Wood has provided professional development to hundreds of teachers across the US in the areas of Brain Compatible Teaching and Learning, Kagan Cooperative Learning, 4MAT Lesson Design, Standards based Backward Unit Design, and Curriculum Mapping.
